Day shift – 12 hours per day

We are supporting our client on expanding their workforce for a minor outage, with a strong focus on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex systems.

The successful candidates will be responsible for electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance across critical assets, including gas and steam turbines, boilers, HRSGs (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), rotating machinery, and associated balance of plant systems.

Industrial Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, and commission electrical systems and components on power generation and process plant equipment.
• Carry out installation works in compliance with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Support the installation and commissioning of gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, HRSGs, and rotating equipment.
• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on site equipment and infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, commissioning, and site management teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Ensure all activities comply with site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and permit to work systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test records, inspection reports, and certification.
• Identify and report non-conformities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on site.

Industrial Electrician

Essential Qualifications and Certifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognized qualification.
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• 18^th Edition
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

Industrial Electrician

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working on large-scale Energy from Waste (EfW), power plants, refineries, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of the installation and commissioning processes for high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Familiarity with heavy industrial equipment including turbines, HRSGs, generators, and large rotating machines.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Previous experience working within a multi-disciplinary team on construction and commissioning projects.
