Matthew has been with Proman for over 20 years and has overseen the growth of the business from an excellent regional recruitment company to a business that has maintained the same level of service on a national scale.

As Co-Managing Director, he is tasked with formulating the direction and strategy for all divisions and ensuring a comprehensive, compliant, and professional service to our clients. He is also responsible for driving innovation and best practice, as well as championing PROMAN's core values and culture across the business.

Liz Atkinson

UK & Group Accounts Director

Liz joined Proman in 2018 as Director of Sales with over 15 years' prior experience within the supply chain sector. Her remit is onboarding SMEs through to the UK's largest blue-chip logistics and manufacturing organisations who mirror Proman's own culture and values.

This is achieved through building better business relationships and surpassing our clients' expectations, all of which is part of The Proman Standard. A key part of her role as UK and Group Account Director now is to expand Proman's service offering internationally.

Jon Derbyshire

Operations Director

Jon joined Proman UK in January 1995 having previously worked at British gas and Shell Chemicals. With 30 years' experience as a recruitment professional, he has a background of contract negotiation & implementation, People Management and Customer Relation Management within the Supply Chain Staffing & Recruitment Industry.  

Jon is our Operations Director with 13 fantastic teams across the Midlands, North-West & Yorkshire who look after over 200 client operations and around 5,000+ Proman workers every week.  We provide logistics & manufacturing operations with everything from Pickers & Packers through to Fork-Lift Operatives & Stock Checkers.

Jon would consider himself a fully-fledged Mancunian having lived in Manchester all his life (other than 3 years of University in Plymouth). He can even boast of my grandfather being one of the Busby Babes team who survived the Munich Air Disaster. He has a love of the outdoors & nature with all his travels (Scotland, Africa, Canada & Australia included so far) planned to get as close to nature as possible; one of the many highlights being that he got less than 6 feet from a group of Killer Whales off Vancouver Island.
