HGV Class 1 Driver – Monday to Friday | Curtain-Siders | £17.50–£26.25/hr PAYE

Proman Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading logistics company based in Sheffield (S9). We are looking for experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their growing operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for full-time, ongoing work, with the option of a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

What’s Involved

• Trunking work to and from RDCs

• Operating Curtain-Siders

• No handball

• Completing POD paperwork accurately

PAYE Pay Rates

• Monday–Friday Days: £17.50/hr (£15.61 base + holiday accrual)

• Monday–Friday Nights: £18.50/hr (£16.50 base + holiday accrual)

• Overtime after 52.5 hrs: £26.25/hr (£23.42 base + holiday accrual)

• Permanent contract can be offered after 12 weeks

✅ Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card

• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 experience

• Max 6 penalty points – No IN10, DD, DR10, TT99, MS90, or TS10
