For Red Nose Day this year, our PROMAN onsite team at JD Sports put together a cake stand in the warehouse to fundraise for the event. The whole team dressed in their red nose day tops and set up stall in the warehouse canteen ready to raise as much money that they could! With mountains of cakes, brownies, and cookies to choose from, agency workers, permanent staff and the JD management team lined up to donate in exchange for sweet treats galore.

As the goodies started dwindling, and the queue of workers who wanted to take pictures with our PROMAN designed selfie board started to diminish, the team decided to walk around the warehouse with some of JD’s management to bring cakes to those on the shop floor. Telling jokes and fun facts along the way, in true comic relief fashion, a smile was brought to both management and workers faces.

We made sure to take as many pictures as we could of the fun events and workers showing off their prizes. Over the course of the day PROMAN managed to raise well over £100 for Red Nose Day thanks to the amazing contributions of JD workers and management. This money will be used year-round to support those in financial and material poverty around the world. Thank you to the JD team and to everyone who donated, we hope you had as good a day as we did!
