Quality Assurance Auditor 

Salary: £25,500

Shift: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am rotating every 2 weeks

Location: Wythenshaw

 

Desirables:

 

  • At least 1 years’ experience working in the factory or packing room environment.
  • Great communications skills be able to explain the reason for your actions, so the team understand the standards and the reasons they are enforced.
  • Attention to detail, calm methodical and organised.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence when using an Ipad and similar work-based technology.

 

We are willing to consider candidates without any technical or quality experience. However, this candidate will need to be hard working, willing to learn and a team player. Our client has history of developing their staff into knowledgeable food professionals.

 

Quality Assurance Auditing experience is desirable.

 

Role specific responsibilities: -

 

 

  • To cover both High Care & Low Risk Areas.
  • CCP verification to ensure checks are completed correctly, at the correct frequency and actions completed if & when Non compliance occurs (Min of 1 check per line per shift).
  • Label checks in packaging
  • Barcode Verification in Packaging (2 per shift).
  • Product presentation checks in packaging (2 per shift).
  • Organoleptic checks
  • Incident Reports
  • Collection of Micro Samples
  • Problematic Products
  • Issues with Raw Materials & Packaging during products.
  • Monthly / Weekly Glass & Perspex audits
  • Monthly GMP / Fabrication / Hygiene Audits
  • Daily black bag audit (1 per shift)
  • New Plaster & Pen Metal detector checks (as and when new supplies received)
  • Daily Scales calibration
  • Daily Temperature calibration
  • Collate, check & file all record sheets (paper & Red Zone)
  • Debox Checks
  • Shift Handover
