Job Title: Packing Operative

Location: Wigan

Shifts: Various AM shifts between 6am-4pm, various PM shifts between 2pm-00.30am

 Pay Rate: £9.05

***Full time & part time positions available with an immediate start, this is a temp to perm role & full training will be provided so NO EXPERINECE IS NEEDED***

***Please note this role involves working in a chilled environment and may involve handling food including meats & vegetables. Also, note that this is not an seasional job, we have high volumes of work available. ***

Shifts Available (Monday-Friday):

6am – Finish (usually 2pm-3pm)

7am – Finish (usually 3pm-4pm)

8am – Finish (usually 4pm-5pm)

2pm – Finish (usually 10pm-11pm)

2.30pm – Finish (usually 10.30pm-11.30pm)

3.30pm – Finish (usually 11.30pm-00.30am)

Pay Rates

£9.05 per hour - standard hours

The Role & Responsibilities;

The role will include carrying out various packing operative tasks such as:

-          Placing products into sleeves

-          Weighing ingredients

-          Quality checking

-          Metal detection

-          Completion of paperwork

-          Labelling

-          Packing

-          Following factory health & safety guidelines

The Successful Candidate;

The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and hard working. This is a long term opportunity in a role offering great job security as part of a stable team. Previous production operative or packing operative experience would be desirable but is not essential as full training is provided.
