Salary: £21,000 (£10.77 p/h)

Hours: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am

•              Previous experience operating machinery

•              Previous experience, or an understanding of, continuous improvement initiatives

Machine Operator (Textiles)

The Role

My Client who is a leading manufacture within their field is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team. The main purpose of this role will be to produce product according to production plans ensuring the company is able to meet customer demands.

Machine Operator Duties:

•              Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes

•              Quality checking of finished material using measuring tools

•              Resolve any issues that arise during production, using a methodical problem solving approach to ensure the root cause is found.

•              Ensure Machines are running smoothly raising any issues

•              Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings, discussing issues, resolutions and best practice, raising ideas and suggestions as a way to drive improvements.

•              Change over machines when necessary to other products and perform fit trial procedure, this will reduce downtime and increase productivity for the site.
