Proman is currently working with a fast-moving business to appoint an experienced IT Manager who will be responsible for providing IT support for the entire business. This is a full-time position and will be an office-based role.
You’ll support internal projects and be involved with some external collaboration with our customer, and you will have the opportunity to manage a number of development projects. Experience with Azure AD, SQL and MS Excel is essential for the role.
Duties & Responsibilities
The role is to be fully responsible for the Network, Comms and App support for a small consulting company. Projects will include among other things:
- completing a data capture project, for which the Company has already won regional awards and recognition,
- upgrading legacy network infrastructure to better support remote work
- improving the Company’s online profile
Beyond these, there are technical challenges across Support, Development and Cyber, and everyday offers an exciting opportunity backed by a supportive management team.
Your most important attribute will be your enthusiasm. You will have the opportunity to get involved in the full range of activities offered by the Company and embracing those challenges and proactively finding solutions.
Essential technical skills that will be required:
Microsoft 365 (you will need to be good at Word and Excel, macros, formatting, templates etc)
Cyber knowledge and experience
SQL (querying, as much as managing)
Firewall / VPN config and management
Personal Skills / Attributes:
- Excellent Communication.
- Organisation Skills
- Collaboration Skills.
