Monday – Thursday / 07:30 – 16:20

Friday / 07:00 – 11:00

£30,000 - £33,000 Depending on experience

Proman is working one of the UKs leading manufacturers within the automotive industry to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to cover Maternity Leave. This position will be to provide onsite support to all areas of the business within both manufacturing and warehouse.

The purpose of the role will be to support the sites with all day-to-day HR issues and any Policy and Procedure queries. You will be an experienced Generalist with working knowledge of Absence Management, Employment Law, and Disciplinaries and Grievances.

HR Business Partner

Main duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Manage all day-to-day HR queries from employees
  • Provide policy advice and guidance to both the Management team and employees
  • Manage absences including short-term, long-term, and liaising with Occupational Health to support employees to return to work.
  • Manage any Restricted employees which will include liaising with Occupational Health and the Leadership Teams.
  • Manage the Occupational Health Contract for the Manufacturing Plant and the Warehouse
  • Support and provide advice and guidance for all Disciplinary and Grievance matters.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for all vacancies internally and externally.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings to support with training needs and succession planning
  • Facilitate HR reports as required
  • Manage the local Training Database
  • Attend Consultation meetings with the Plant / Warehouse and Trade Union
  • Support the completion of all appraisals and any Performance Improvement Plans

The Candidate

  • A minimum of HNC in a business-related subject,
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above)
  • Previous experience working within HR is essential.
  • Previous experience working within Manufacturing is advantageous
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels
  • IT literate
