Amazon is seeking bright, articulate, detail-oriented and disciplined applicants with a desire to contribute to excellent customer service in a virtual (Work from Home) environment.

What will you be doing?

As a virtual customer service associate, you will act as the first point of contact for our customers by answering their queries through phone, chat or email. Amazon Customer Service Associates are a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate, and professional customer service to all Amazon customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in resolving a variety of issues. Associates will be required to communicate with customers via phone, email and chat so a suitable home office and quiet work area is required. Associates will utilize a variety of software tools to navigate issues, research and review policies, and communicate effective solutions in a fun and fast-paced environment.
We operate from 6am to 10pm; shift patterns may include work over weekends and public holidays.

Basic skills required
⦁ At least 3 months of work experience (any environment)
⦁ Fluent in English & German with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
⦁ Ability to navigate the internet, email, and chat to customers via Instant Messenger tools
⦁ Ability to cope well in a high pressure environment while maintaining high quality outputs
Additional skills required
⦁ Uphold company values and respect every customer
⦁ Exude patience and ownership with each customer
⦁ Ability to resolve conflicts and set appropriate expectations with customers
⦁ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both external customers and co-workers
⦁ Composition skills - ability to consistently compose a grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written response to customer issues
⦁ Ability to make appropriate decisions on behalf of the customer quickly and effectively
What do we need from you?
⦁ You’ll need to provide a quiet, distraction free workspace within a dedicated room. You will need to have an ergonomic desk and chair.
⦁ From a technical perspective, you would need to have a minimum broadband connection of 25MB download speed and 10MB upload speed using a hard-wire ethernet internet connection (no WiFi). We will provide you with a complete equipment package ahead of your first day of training.
