Finance Credit Controller
Full-time, Permanent Role
£20,000 - £22,000 DOE
08:30 – 17:00

The Role
This role will include a variety of tasks and will be suitable for someone with experience supporting a Finance Team. Duties will include the following:
⦁ Supporting the Finance Team Leader in monitoring, recording and processing payments related to Customs, VAT, and Duty
⦁ Support with the collection of outstanding debts
⦁ Monitor and record payments for Customs Duty and VAT.
⦁ Ensure confirmation of customer balance against the total receivable.
⦁ Monitor and control deposit accounts to ensure Customers don’t exceed the limit.
⦁ Liaise with operations to ensure release of good once debts are cleared.
⦁ Assist in all accounts receivable related duties.
⦁ Reconcile Customs Duty Charges

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experiences and attributes...
⦁ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Credit Controller
⦁ Excellent understanding of VAT, Duty Charges and Reconciliation
⦁ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
⦁ Ability to work on own initiative, multitask and work well under pressure
⦁ Team player, flexible approach
⦁ Self-motivated, achiever
⦁ Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills; strong attention to detail
