Field Service Engineer
Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM 
There is a requirement to be on call for this role (1 in 3 weeks)
£35,000 (OTE £42,000)

The Candidate 

Ideally you will have experience of working within a Field Service Engineering role. As a minimum you must have worked in some form of engineering / repair role.
Experience of working with vacuum pumps, electrical systems and stainless-steel pipework is beneficial
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with previous experience maintaining machinery or a Maintenance Engineer/Multi Skilled Engineer/Maintenance Electrician 
Experience working within a food production environment would be beneficial, but this is not essential. 
The role will involve working on farms so you must be willing to work in this environment
Experience of working within the dairy industry would be highly beneficial but is not essential
18th edition qualification is beneficial but not essential
This role would require a flexible approach, and the ability to also work some weekends.
You must have a driving licence, ideally this will be a clean licence.

The Role 

You will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining dairy and associated agricultural equipment. The role will cover mainly Yorkshire and Lancashire, but the company do have clients across the UK and in Ireland. You will be part of a team of 3 Engineers and your main responsibilities will include…

Attending emergency breakdowns and repairing of dairy equipment including pasteurisers, milking machines, homogenisers, bottle washers and bottle filling equipment.
Diagnosis, fault finding and repair of electrical, mechanical and electronics. 
Carrying out servicing and planned maintenance of equipment.
Carry out refurbishment of machinery
Removal and assembly of milking parlour equipment
Testing of equipment to ensure it is compliant with industry standards
Providing technical advice and training to customers both face to face and over the phone
Carry out additional duties to assist the business.
