FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver

Irlam (M44)

Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts : 06:00 14:30 and 09:30 – 18:00

Rate of pay: £11.05ph

Overtime is up to £17/h

****TEMP TO PERM position for the right cadidate/FLT licences required****

 

The Role/Responsibilities:


As a FLT driver, your main duties would include:

·         loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans

·         performing other warehouse tasks like picking, packing and despatch

·         moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility

·         stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions

·         checking loads are secure

·         stacking empty pallets

·         performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric)

·         helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary

 

 

The Candidate/Qualifications needed:


To be successful, you need to:

·         have previous experience in operating Reach and Counterbalance truck

·         have a valid license/certificate to operate FLT trucks (Reach and Counterbalance): RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent

·         be punctual and reliable

·         be able to organise and prioritise workload

·         be computer literate

·         have good numeracy and literacy skills
