Job Title: Despatch/Warehouse Operative
Location: Yeadon, Leeds
Salary: £23-£28K DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

 

 

 The Candidate

 

  • Previous Despatch/Warehouse experience
  • FLT Counterbalance is desirable – training will be provided
  • Time management ability
  • Excellent communication skills able to communicate at all levels
  • Self-starter
  • Positive attitude
  • Team Player – able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative

The Role

The Despatch/Warehouse Operative role is working in a team environment where you will :

 

  • Responsible for general warehouse, goods in and despatch duties
  • Pack Goods and work in accordance with company procedures as defined for the Despatch Section; prepare and apply barcode labels as appropriate
  • Carry out final packing activities such as box markings and carrier instructions; ensure that despatch documentation such as invoices and release paperwork are included within the delivery
  • Liaise with customers regarding order requirements as and when required
  • Assist in the loading and un-loading of vehicles by whatever means trained for and obtain relevant signatories for all deliveries
