Demand Management analyst

Up to £30,000 DOE

Monday to Friday – 9.30am – 4.45 (37.5 hr working week)


Permanent Role

The Candidate

  • A good general level of education to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum, to include Maths and English to grade C level.
  • Previous Experience in a customer facing role
  • Previous Demand Management experience is desirable
  • Excellent IT skills and a high level of competency in Excel
  • Previous SAP experience is desirable
  • Previous experience working in an FMCG environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to multi task

The Role

The Demand Management Analyst will have ownership of a key customer account and will be responsible for forecasting both manufactured and purchased goods using historic sales, seasonal trends and promotional plans. The demand management analyst will work collaboratively across departments and will hold a customer facing role.

  • Using Customer Electronic Point Of Sale (EPOS) and shipment history to produce accurate sales forecasts and planning these in SAP
  • Working collaboratively with the customer, agreeing promotional forecasts and challenging these where necessary.
  • Run Regular meetings with the customer and share updates on service level, supply risks and discuss any proposed changed to the forecasts.
  • Maximising customer service level by troubleshooting supply issues and working with other departments to find solutions.
  • Leading a weekly forecast meeting and using analysis to share proposed changes with commercial colleague.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within the plans to help protect supply, manage stock levels and enable sales.
  • Learning basic knowledge of all customer accounts to provide holiday cover.
