Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Up to £21,000 depending upon experience.

Our client is currently a UK market leader within wholesale distribution. They are currently in the market for a customer service advisor to join the expanding team on a permanent basis.

The Candidate

  • Experience within a Customer Service / Call Centre is essential.
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience providing great customer service
  • Ability to prioritise calls

    Customer Service Advisor
    The Role

  • To provide an efficient and effective telephone service to all callers coming into the Order Processing Team
  • To demonstrate an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
  • To assist callers with basic requirements and facilitate the transfer to the correct department/person
  • Ensure all calls are logged on the internal system in the appropriate manner
  • To manage approximate 100 incoming calls per day
  • Basic training on Order Processing to assist in busy times if required
  • Take all calls regarding customer complaints
  • Log issues/complaints on the internal bespoke software
  • Work all complaints to completion
  • Raise charges and credits on customer accounts.
  • Monitoring returns to completion
  • Liaising daily with customers via the telephone and email
  • Resolve customer & system queries.
  • Chase for payment
  • Liaising with warehouse, transport, finance and sales regularly
