Week 2 Monday-Thursday 13:45-23:45

The Job:

My client is looking for an experienced CNC 5 Axis Operator to join their expanding business. You will be instructed with machining specialist alloys that will go into industry and science.

CNC Miller / CNC Turner  

Main Responsibilities

  • Set and operate 4 & 5 axis vertical milling machines / CNC Lathe Machines
  • Operate CNC CMM Machines
  • Ensure that quality is kept to the highest standard
  • Ensure that maintenance is kept to the highest standard
  • Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed
  • Assist with problem solving
  • Communicate effectively with technical departments
  • Identify and develop manufacturing improvements / procedures for continuous improvement

CNC 5 Axis Operator

The Candidate

  • Time served engineer or a qualification of a similar engineering discipline
  •  3, 4 & 5 axis vertical machine experience
  • Experience working on machinery with Mazak/Fanuc controls
  • Understanding of CMM machines
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and quality systems
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Efficient, logical and professional
