My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Assistant Machine Operator to join their team due to continued growth and expansion. They are looking for a candidate to provide a high-level support service to keep machines operating efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of the functions and basic mechanical workings of machinery whilst under limited supervision.

Assistant Machine Operator

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimum quality at all times.  
  • Maintain optimum Health and Safety standards and keep area neat and clean at all times.
  • Consistently achieve productivity targets.
  • Sub assembly of small plastic components.
  • Testing and verification of finished components.
  • Pack finished components into boxes and palletize.
  • Consistently achieve productivity targets.
  • Maintain optimum quality at all times.
  • Complete accurate job records – time recording.
  • Supporting Pre Press operator

Assistant Machine Operator

The Candidate:

  • Experience working to high quality standards whilst meeting targets and deadlines.
  • General computer skills.
  • Experience of operating high-speed production machinery.
  • Experience of working in a production environment.
  • Ability to use initiative with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
